Around the work of Mathilde Chassaigne, we were authorized to manipulate her dozens plaster sculptures during a 40 minutes performance.

Elan is a performance realized in 2019, at ENSA Dijon. Three people circulate in a room where plaster sculptures and cloths are already disposed. The goal for these performers is to make a sensory or a sound experience. Then, the sculptures become objects, piece of furniture, musical instruments, toys. The status of the artwork is edited and the time connection changes, the disposal of the objects in the room space is in a constant evolution, the composition changes, the artwork can be touched, it is alive.
