Sky translates the flow of clouds that we observe in the sky and which produce, in good weather, an increasingly intense and brilliant light. The installation transposes this phenomenon by reversing the reading direction. The light no longer comes from above, but from the ground, and the cloud mass moves along a narrow line, accentuating the perception of movement and speed. The mist then behaves like sound matter made of textures and rhythms. It is a new perception of this phenomenon that is proposed, enriched by the sound, provoking an unprecedented immersion conducive to contemplation and capable, no doubt, of questioning our relationship with these natural phenomena.

Based on a principle imagined by Jean-Marc Chomaz and Laurent Karst for Labofactory, I participated in the development of a transportable prototype. It was needed to preserve the original data necessary to re-create an environment conducive to the physical phenomenon, and to condense them into an aesthetic and transportable device.
