In front of the Dijon School of Art, Hadika Simon runs a store,
"La source des vins", offering a selection of Burgundy wines. We took advantage of this proximity to collaborate and rearange her store.

Located near the church of St Philibert, the store lacks of visibility. In order to attract strollers, it was necessary to have a strong signal close to the roadway.

Originally, she meticulously arranged a composition of antique objects and samples from her store on a barrel worn by the time. With the idea of a signal object, I imagined a structure inspired by maritime beacons, supporting two Balthazar bottles (12L). These large capacity bottles are arranged according to a device for dynamizing the water, a process used in some Burgundian estates, evoking the shape of an hourglass. This reference to time evokes one of the essential ingredients in the elaboration of great wines: time. This luminous sign, organized on a metal structure, is removable and can be positioned during the day on the existing barrel. This project is being validated by the municipal services of the city of Dijon.
