The Museum of Burgundian Life is located in the heart of the city of Dijon, in the Bernardine's monastery. This ethnological museum offers visitors a journey to the heart of the traditions and history of the Burgundians. My project is to present an exhibition devoted to games on the top floor of the building which is intended to host temporary exhibitions. The Latin phrase which serves as its title, and which anchors gambling in a long history, means "the fate is cast" or "the dice are thrown", which is a way of indicating the importance of chance in play activities.

Thanks to mechanical and interactive principles, the spectator has access to information, data and anecdotes about the game. The exhibition puts the spectator in the game and encourages him to take a step back from his practices, to discover which form he prefers and what effects the game can have on him. They are confronted with isolation in confined spaces where the content has the effect of monopolizing their attention or, on the contrary, collaborate with other visitors in collective experiences. The shape of the spaces symbolizes the throwing of a dice that gradually seals the visitor's fate. Visitors can guess what is waiting for them from the footbridges, but they have to play the game in order to get to the highlight of the exhibition.
